Barfußpfad Bad Sobernheim | Bad Sobernheim

Off to an adventure on the barefoot path

Up and down, all the way through and up to the top - barefoot all the way. It's wet, cool and slippery and smells like grass and wood. On the Bad Sobernheim Barefoot Path relaxation is a balancing act and an eventful, close-to-nature adventure. Stomp knee-deep through clay, move hand-over-hand along a rope through the river Nahe with the water reaching up to your thighs, walk barefoot over sand, stones, meadows and bark mulch wearing a happy smile on your face all the way. The barefoot path is where your shoes take a break, but your senses work at top speed. Experiencing nature barefoot is different; it's advantageous, exciting and informative all at once. Visitors follow a 3.5 kilometre path through nature, testing their agility on alternating terrain and being lured by the banks of the river Nahe to come and join the adventure. After a break at one of the picnic grounds bordering the circuit path visitors return to the starting point on the other side of the river either by walking across the hanging foot bridge or using a special boat. We are sure that dog owner’s will understand that they are not allowed to take their four legged friends along this barefoot path.
