More than 40 festively decorated stands offer everything a Christmas heart desires: high-quality craftsmanship, colourful toys, glittering Christmas tree decorations, delicious gingerbread and fragrant mulled wine.
The bright lights of the lovingly decorated stands and the special flair of a medieval old town create a magical, dreamy ambience. Many are infected by it - every year people flock to one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany. The Bernkastel-Kueser Christmas Market has been a magnet for visitors for years with a varied supporting programme.
Visitors to the Christmas Market can look forward to an ice rink again: just like last year, it will once again be located at the Forum Square in Kues.

Torchlight swimming with Santa Claus
On 07 December, at 17:30, this unique sea of lights shines from numerous torches. The torchlight swimming through the icy Moselle has been a highlight for years. Over 100 sport divers accompany the Nikolaus on its way from the Kueser harbor to the Bernkasteler Mosel bank. After the safe arrival at the Mosel shore Santa Claus distributes presents to the small visitors.
