Five heads, four acoustic instruments, three instrumentalists, two singers, one heart and one soul: that's acoustic4.
Kathrin and Leonie, two young women with unique voices who captivate the audience and simply harmonize wonderfully. Peter on piano and Johannes on bass, who already make music together as long as they can think and sometimes seem to have an inner connection. And finally Jonathan, the Ed Sheeran from the Mosel valley, who combines everything with his virtuoso guitar playing and his very special voice, which finally results in a round overall picture.
The five musicians present themselves with creative, high-quality arrangements and a tonal diversity that is rarely found among cover bands. Perfectly attuned to each other, they convince with polyphonic piano ballads as well as grooving rock numbers and soulful acoustic pop. The instrumentalists' many years of jazz experience can clearly be felt in the pointed kicks and spontaneous improvisations, as well as the irrepressible joy of music that unites all five.
The special sound of acoustic4 is no accident. The musicians bring together influences from jazz, rock and classical music to create something completely new from well-known pop hits. The central instrument is the Cajon, which each of the instrumentalists masters in his own way. There is no full-time drummer - the magic word is division of labour. Due to the constantly changing line-up, acoustic4 never gets boring, even after hours of listening.
The band was founded in 2015 first as a quartet in Bernkastel-Kues on the Mosel, two years later with another great voice and in the last two years it has become a permanent fixture in the regional band scene. Despite the young age of all band members they can already look back on more than 35 years of stage experience, of which they have spent a large part together - and you can feel that when you listen to them.
