Matthias Schlubeck is one of the leading panflute players worldwide and has made a name for himself especially in the field of interpretation of classical music on the panflute. He is the first musician in Germany with a university degree in the subject panflute and has been a lecturer for the main subject panflute at the Institute of Music at the University of Music Osnabrück for several years. As a regular concert guest in Marienstatt he can be heard this year with harpist Isabel Moreton. She is a lecturer for harp and methodology/didactics at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg and at the Hanover Music School. She regularly gives master classes and is in demand as a juror for national and international competitions. As one of the renowned harpists of her generation, she has given concert engagements throughout Europe, the Middle East, USA, Canada, Australia and in summer 2017 in Hong Kong, where she played at the opening concert of the World Harp Congress.
